They are STILL working on the trail and making everyone detour onto the gravel path, ugggh – and the diesel fumes smelled good too.

Greatly appreciate if someone could reply back when this work is done. I usually ride east from Herndon thru that section, but now will wait until the construction is over as I felt very unstable going thru their detour last week. TIA.
