Thanks everyone. Those maps especially are helpful. So far I’ve learned to avoid Columbia Pike as much as possible, and I ride through Ft. Myers from the gate near 2nd street to the gate closer to the Sheraton. These are evening after work rides just for enjoyment to get to the MVT and four mile run trails (via Pentagon City to Crystal City). Returning, I like the hill on Walter Reed from the four mile run trail to just past Columbia Pike. (I find it a bit of a stress buster after a day at work). I will try the commute though.
