    Have you guys seen the official flyer for this? Megan has a ton of sponsors onboard now. (Also, I spotted the Loch Ness Monster)

    Nice spot, TK. But, that would actually be the Dirtness Monster….

    Updated flyer with 22 sponsors on it now.

    Come on, man. I didn’t have any problem last year doing 125. It was the final 33 miles that I managed to squeeze out that did me in.

    DaveK will be doing the 125 with me. He just doesn’t know it yet.

    Gillian – I’ve asked Rob and Joe to post clarification on which floor both here and to the BAC e-mail list. Sorry I didn’t see the question earlier. Hopefully, there is signage that will help once we get there?

    I’ll be at Good Stuff around 6ish15ish.

    The event is really taking on some traction and I’ve already lined up some great sponsors that will be helping out with some prizes, hand-ups, donation incentives and a whole lot more.

    Here’s a list of who I have lined up already…some of these haven’t even been announced on the Facebook event page yet.

    So, folks, you’re seeing some of these here first!

    Be sure you visit http://www.HainsPoint100.com to sign up and go to the Facebook Event Page. (Follow @HainsPoint100 on twitter, too!)

    Sorry, no can do. Have taken a few days off and need to be at my desk bright-eyed and bushy-tailed facing a zillion e-mails that I haven’t checked…have fun, ya’ll.

    More info from Nelle…

    We just mapped out Saturday’s Route. We’ll be riding a little over an hour at a leisurely pace and avoid most of DC’s hills. We’ll stop at two DC landmarks where wedding trinkets are aplenty. There won’t be shopping, thank goodness, but there will be bathroom and snack breaks if necessary.

    We’ll end the celebration with some dancing tunes, and savory treats, and warm alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

    Plus, the weather looks fabulous. Blue skies and crisp autumnal temperatures. Pull out your dresses and find your darling matching sweaters!

    ~~~
    Many of us have frilly, lacy, taffeta-based skeletons in our closets: You know, bridesmaid dresses that haven’t found much use since our cousin’s vows were exchanged a few years back. Pull out your obnoxious wedding-wear and get on your bike!
    This social ride is for anyone who identifies as a woman or who wants to wear a dress. We always have a strict no rider left behind policy, and will start the beginning of the ride with a quick skillshare on group riding, and city biking.
    It will move at a leisurely pace and will, of course, end with food and libations at Angles Bar, your new favorite bar in the heart of Adams Morgan.
    Bring:
    -Your most flamboyant bridesmaid dress and possibly a darling warm sweater to boot
    -Your friends
    -Bicycle, lock, lights, water
    -Weather appropriate clothing
    -Helmets mandatory, as always
    Getting there:
    -Meridian Hill Park is accessible via the U Street Metro Station, buses, bikeshare, is surrounded by on-street parking, and Car2Go.
    Mark you calendar, find your froofy dress, invite your friends!
    Let us know you’re coming on the Facebook event page! (Or, here on the forum.)
    Naw, it’s because there’s only one gentleman on this forum. The rest of you are hoodlums and scofflaws. :) (Or, perhaps it was a low caffeine late afternoon typo moment…)
    For those of you without tickets, show up and we might be able to let you in about 10 minutes before the start of the movie. While there is a possibility of no-shows, we can’t guarantee you’ll be let in.
    If you have reserved tickets and you now know that you aren’t coming, feel free to broker with your ticketless friends to swap ahead of time so they can take your place…
    Wanted to let everyone know that there WILL be extra bike parking the night of the event thanks to Phoenix Bikes! There will be volunteers at the front door to direct you where the extra racks are located…
