I have such a love hate relationship with the Founding Farmers restaurants. The terrible post review was deserved, but I like the cocktails they make and the food verges on really tasty. Clue –
After the veggie interlude we are back to a traditional style taco. Authentic? yep. Caliente? Siiiii. Veggie options, yeah they have a mean nopal taco.

Set up on a hill surrounded by other great establishments this dc spot won’t disappoint.

The taco hunt reminded me to visit El Chilango. Would have liked to check out the taco truck but the physical one was on the way home. I met the owner a long time ago and I think he said he’s from Mexico City, hence the name El Chilango which is the slang for people from Mexico City.
