Quick RULES Question (related to SMUGNESS Pointless Prize). Is is legal to WALK your bike, if you encounter perilous, icy, snowy conditions? I admit your average speed may suffer. What is the current opinion on this?

If ebikes were previously ‘legal’, any way that you can propel the bike forward counts.

Hello all! Fourth time doing the FS madness. Won’t lie first time around I wouldn’t ride bellow 50 besides a sleaze, four years later and 50 is like a warm summer day.

I plan on riding all days and hitting the 100 mile contribution or more.

Spending this month in sunny Portugal but will be around soon.

JA any idea what happened to the folks that haven’t joined our team?

    Any ideas for team names?

Also will we be communicating here where is open to everyone or at Strava (My preferred choice)?

    Ride on my FS brethren.

My summer shoes have vents on towards the front of the shoe on the bottom. Did you cover those? Foil would work

1/11 at Catoctin Creek with SMH9600. (By the way, she insisted we do the alcohol-euring trifecta!) I had the standard flight with 2 bourbons and a gin. I forgot to take a pic of the bottles so I don’t recall what the bourbons were, but remember that I liked it more after I added a little water to open it up.

Yup. It’s my race bike from the 90s (yes, I’m old!) Custom built frame by John Hollands (who has long since retired). Reynolds 653. Still a sweet ride.

It’s beautiful! Need to see it live in February

Can you confirm you have joined the strava club for your team, and not any clubs for any other of this year’s teams?

I had to join my teams club and it fixed the issue. Thanks JR

Not even worthy of a caption since it’s out of focus/blurry. And is that Joe Dombrowski on the far right?

Fixed. Must’ve been daydreaming about Bernard Hinault, Laurent Fignon, and Greg LeMond … who all rode for the Renault team in the early 80s.

Surprisingly smooth and clean tasting. I’m eager to try it in a proper G&T.

Counting this as extra spirit points
