You need to re-take the photo so people can appreciate the craziness that is that seatpost. I love mine.
I’ve made a couple of changes. I had to switch to a Fizik Alliante saddle that I’m used to from my road bike. It came with a Phenom I think which some people like, but it was killing me. I also went back to SPD pedals instead of road pedals.

Glad you got yours. I knew a few had come in but I don’t think any have arrived since the strike/slowdown. It’s maddening.
What size is it?
A 54. I guess that’s pretty much the most common size.

How did you actually put hands on a Diverge? I ordered mine in mid-December and still have yet to receive it. Best estimate for arrival is end of May! I’m pretty frustrated.
Ordered in October
Got it about a month ago from FreshBikes in Merrifield.

The Specialized Diverge looks nice. Not a touring bike but looks like a great bike for riding on C&O towpath.
I rode from Point of Rocks to Whites Ferry on the Diverge (carbon frame version) when there was still sections of snow on the C&O. The bike handled pretty well, but I walked most of the icy sections. I did NOT have fenders so the bike ended up being pretty filthy. This was with the stock 32c tires. It performed pretty well, but it would have been nicer if the trail was dry.

ParticipantI’ll be doing it, but I’ll be coming in from Lexington. I have plenty of room if someone needs a place to crash. Only one spare bed but I have lots of floor space

ParticipantI haven’t done that ride, but I’ve ridden all those roads quite a few times. I would describe the route as moderately rolling. There are some flat stretches, and most of the rollers are not crazy, but there are also a few short steep sections.

I was going right, but yeah, the bike lane needs to go all the way, or at least end at a less daft spot.
I always cut through behind the office buildings just before the bike lane ends. Usually I cross Rt 7 by going under the parking structure beside the Olive Garden, and then hitting the frontage road.

ParticipantWhen I started my ride out of Leesburg it was still about 35 degrees. By 2:00pm it was still only about 43 degrees. It never did start getting really warm until I was already home 😡

ParticipantI did not have an actual goal, but I ended up with 8300 miles, and 27 rides that were 100-mile +. My longest ride was 118 miles with 11K of climbing.
I bought a new place in the Shenandoah Valley near Lexington this summer, so most of the miles were near there on exploratory rides. What an amazing place to ride. I’m really looking forward to spring when I’ll mostly know where I’m going

Somebody tried it while I was riding on a road in Thurmont, MD, and totally failed. I gave him a big thumbs up.
