    Good news! The new bridge across Holmes Run at Ripley Street opened right after Labor Day. It includes the new ramp to the tunnel under 395. There is still a little bit of cleanup being done, but most of the construction area has been cleared. I understand that there will be a follow-up project to widen and improve the parallel trail (currently very little of this is paved) on the south side of Holmes Run, but this has not started.

    Pave the trail along Rt. 110 from the Pentagon to Memorial Bridge. If paved, this would be a safer route from the MVT to Memorial Bridge, Arlington National Cemetery, and Rosslyn than the GW Parkway crossing.
