View of National Shrine from bike lane.
Interesting how many DC row houses have steeple-like turrets toped with spires and how many churches don’t have any steeples at all.Indiana

I don’t know how many times I’ve been at the intersection of Florida and 1st NW DC and looked across at this mural while waiting for the light to change but didn’t see the Little Free Library in front of it. How long has it been there? Anyway, it had very few books but a really cool flip top design! KidSnowLeopard figured out how to open it.

Because of freezing saddles I learned that before they married Nancy was in a movie together with Ronald Reagan called “The Long Shadow.” So here’s mine and KidSnowLeopard’s:

KidSnowLeopard and I hit up this great Little Free Library on 10th St NE DC near Kearney. It had a Highlights magazine with a scratchoff Pisces fish and a cute book we read on the spot about a baby pea who is forced to eat five pieces of candy for dinner before he gets the dessert treat of spinach!

George Washington!Pisces and Aquarius are the most common U.S. presidential signs, but the Pisces fared better in the not-getting-shot department.
