ParticipantSteve and everyone in the BAFS community, enjoy the party!
My post Vasa ride nap took too long and unfortunately can’t make it. ðŸ˜@Steve O 156591 wrote:
Believe it or not, the end of Freezing Saddles 2017 is just 11 days away. And that means you should start napping, so that you can feel well rested for the traditional Freezing Saddles Last Night Hains Point Party (FSLNHPP).
It’s a social ride, not a race (unless you are nip and tuck with another team, in which case you may be trying to rack up some last-second miles). At 11:50 or so we will all gather at the point, stop our GPS devices one last time, and share a toast to winter and another season of Freezing Saddles.VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – If you have a friend or SO or nutcase acquaintance who is not a FS participant and wants to make the FSLNHPP even more elite, they can attempt to emulate the amazing Sarah Bee. For FSLNHPP 2015, she brought her car and provided riders with snacks, drinks, music and big-time cheering. Last year, too, some teams brought support vehicles. This is the location we’ll use as the social gathering spot and for the final toast.

I will bring a toasting beverage. Feel free to contribute in any way to the festivities: costumes, props, disco lights, music, bike foxes, dancing girls, etc.
When does the FSLNHPP start?
There is no official start time; only an official end time. You are welcome to start any time you like. In past years the bulk of riders tended to arrive between 8-10 pm.ianh
ParticipantI am in and thanks for organizing this fun ride, Judd!

ParticipantShe’s missing from the freezing saddles website.
Not joining club on strava doesn’t matter that much as long as FS could access her riding data.
She must have been unauthorized Strava or leave the event somehow.

ParticipantI think we lost our 11th member and we are now the only team with 10 members only.
Is this the penalty of being team 11- Up to eleven?

ParticipantHi Henry
Welcome back! Hope you had a good time and we certainly missed you.
@Henry 153451 wrote:Hey, Team. I was out of the country for a week with no data service. So even if I did ride (which I didn’t) it wouldn’t have counted. Anyway I’m back home and back in the saddle, ready to rack up some point for Team Crank It to 11! Even took the long way to work today.
Let’s get back in the top 10.

ParticipantLooks like all the photos uploaded with Strava(included those with Instagram) will be shown here.
Hashtag may be a better idea to filter BAFS relevant photos.
@Steve O 150281 wrote:I noticed that the FS website is showing recent photos.
Please remind us how that happens. Are all photos associated with a Strava ride shown on the website, or do we need to hashtag them?If it’s all photos, is there a way to opt out of having a photo shown on the website?
What about Instagram? Is there a hashtag to use?
Any other instructions or tips about photos on the Freezing Saddles website?
