Do we want to try to arrange a team coffee or ride this week?

Just seeing this – Fri/Sat/Sun looks like nicer weather. I have a weird student schedule, but could do midday friday or something over the weekend.

I like the wheel lights. I’ve thought about doing this, but was worried about the battery pack flying off and catching on something. How do you secure it?
that’s a nightmare i’ve never considered, so thanks for that
i used to have a kind that ziptied to the hub of my wheel, but then i upgraded to these because they automatically turn off and on. they clip on and screw down to tighten to the spokes.

i haven’t found they move around at all.
amazon link, pretty cheap. this is only one wheel’s worth: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MA3AI0Z/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

ParticipantThis is how my girl looked at Xmas. The wheel lights stay on all year, but the frame colors and snowflakes on the rack are seasonal

ParticipantHey all, I felt so bad about missing the HH, I did an extra 15 miles today! JK, it’s just that it’s gorgeous out this is my second freezing saddles and I’ve figured out strava this year, so hopefully be able to log more rides this time around. I commute daily about 7 miles rt from SE to SW DC. Live near the Anacostia River trail and love to take advantage of that route!

And I don’t really check the forum very often right now, how will communication be managed?

I’ll use this opportunity to state my strong preference for email over the forum. To me the forum is just one more thing that I have to log in and check every day, whereas email is always getting pushed to my mobile device anyway. Since this thread isn’t very active, i think it’s a good idea to email everyone anyway. BAFS isn’t really fun without the reindeer games, in my opinion!
ditto – this is the first time i’ve logged on here since i signed up for FS. i just joined the strava group. email (eibhis@gmail.com) or setting up a FB group would be my preferences. and i love the team name
I live in Anacostia and work downtown, my commute is about 4.5 miles each way. i also teach yoga and do crossfit. i’ve been biking for about two years now.
