From frustrating experience, I can say any rain pants you want me to buy need to be easily put on and removed without having to take off my shoes – a zipper going all the way from ankle to thigh, for example, and no stupid mesh liner to snag on my feet!
Your website appears to require a subscription to see your product, and I ain’t doing that.
we have our website http://www.legsjacket.com that does not require a subscription to view and also our campaign page on Kickstarter, which also does not require a subscription. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vear/1326349502?token=f9aa425b
And yes, our product has zippers from feet to waist on both sides and no mesh liner.
We developed this product to get rid of the frustrtating experience….

There is a market for this. Anyone who really wants to commute 5 days a week year round needs something like this. And although these are not cheap, people would buy them–if they work.
I’d be most concerned from cycling standpoint about how they move around the knees, if they ride too low on the waist and if they come down low enough to overlap waterproof shoes covers.
They are reinforced at the knee and are stiched specifically for cycling. 😎

ParticipantAll in all, guys, thanks for your feedback (and for trolling us) but we are preparing to launch our Kickstarter campaign soon and we would really appreciate if you could take a look first.
Here’s the link https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vear/1326349502?token=f9aa425b – it’s not live yet, just for feedback purposes.
What do you think? Is all clear there? Did we make any mistakes? What can be improved?

Not as good as pants for my arms.
Well, we’re not as cool as you are bro! 😎

Looks too baggy at the cuff to be good on a bike without a chain guard, so a lot of cyclists wouldn’t be able to use it.

Velcro straps for the ankles/calves would be good, otherwise they’re just baggy rain pants. The little booty things could be good except they need to cover the whole shoe, not just the toe, to be effective.
The fold-into-a-bag thing is nice, but not enough to convert me from my current rain pants with rubber bands method.@bobco85 146997 wrote:
I agree. Some sort of strap or bungee cord to tighten the pant at the cuff could be a good solution as long as nothing was sticking out that could get caught in the chain (personal experience that taught me to always wear an anklet over long pants while riding). It would make it much more accessible to cyclists.
Thanks!
We’ll keep this in mind.

I’ve been told I’m a hat for the ass, anybody is interested in that kind of product?
Well, they have something like this already if you’re interested.

Those are rain pants. They’ve been around for years. Giving them a new (stupid) name doesn’t make them a new product.

Sir, we disagree with you on this one. Most people are unaware that such products exist. We tried last year with the name Rain Pants and no one was interested. This name (to some extent) gives you the idea of zippers. :p

I don’t think I’d ever use them. If it’s cold and wet, I’ll wear water-resistant cycling pants. If it’s warm and wet I’ll wear regular cycling shorts.
The biggest problem with water resistant shells is making them breathable so you don’t get soaked with your own trapped sweat. These things are just another layer to trap moisture.

They are breathable. Read the final line in this post – you’ll find a link to our campaign that contains the full description.

So I think the consensus here is that these are jackets for legs that will catch in your chain and kill you.
This my second least favorite kind of spam.

Well, that is not the point of it, but if people demand this – sure! We can make a version that will catch in your chain and kill you. This way you can give it as a gift to all your enemies. [insert evil laugh here] HAHAHA!
