On the trail, I only wave at people I know, and consularrider gets a shoutout when I see him, although usually he sees me first.

On the road, I only wave if it’s a quiet country road.

The Clarendon Cup has always seemed to me to be really well run, and the Challenge Ride has never been BAD, although they have had a snafu here and there (and a problem with hairpin turns).

The Crystal Cup, from what I’ve heard, is always a mess.

It doesn’t help that the streets down there look like they were in a war zone from all the potholes.

I had a great time at this ride as well. I did my six laps, and actually cut almost 30 minutes off of last years time, and I wasn’t nearly as tired!

I contemplated going for a 7th lap, but I finished right at the end last year, and they ran out of medals. I was afraid that if I did a 7th lap, it might happen again.

At least that’s what I’m telling myself now.

This was from the pro race. The course went down Crystal Drive, left on 15th, u-turned after the bridge, and back.
