What I wonder about: when are drivers going to wake up to the fact that driving makes them angry and irritated???

And that there is NO WAY to have fast, uncongested traffic in a crowded urban area, so we need a better way of getting around?

And that given the nature of cars, driving, and parking lots, it’s kind of silly to spend $53,000 on a car?

Many thanks for all of these ideas! My bike is a hybrid. I currently live in Chicago and am used to multiple potholes and bad pavement, so maybe that’s good prep for the trail. I will be able to shower and change when I get to work, so that allows me to get at least somewhat dirty.

Brendan, thank you for mapping an alternate route. I will be sure to try this.

How is it biking on MacArthur? Is it very hazardous with the traffic?
