Due to poor planning on my part 25 years ago, I will be celebrating my daughter’s 25th birthday that evening.

Yeah, those leaderboards (which are driven by the weather and location data) are not available for manually entered rides.

Boo! This sounds like a Garmin conspiracy. Perhaps a Garmin should be awarded to the one with the most “before sunrise” rides who submitted manual entries!

When you have such an awesome leader, who’s not to follow?

I ride to work almost every day—unless school is closed–before the sun comes up~I typically leave before 6:20 am. How come my name does not appear under the individual leaderboard for “before sunrise rides”? I don’t have a Garmin, so I post my rides manually. This shouldn’t make a difference…but does it?

Not yet, we still have 2 team mates that still need to join – Bikewoman and Zuc.
Bikewoman tried but I botched the strava club invite – sorry my mistake. I don’t know Zuc and haven’t been able to contact yet. I’ve sent private messages to both on this forum and sent invites by strava.

Sorry but Hozn deleted you both from the Freezing Saddles website – you’ll need to re-authorize Strava here http://freezingsaddles.com/authorize

Then you’ll have to join the strava club here: http://www.strava.com/clubs/121129

Also – did you know we can post discussions on strava club? There’s a link to “discussions” – if you post there all team mates will get notifications.

Please let me know if you need any help – thanks

Sorry, Initially, I made a request. Then I later saw the invite and clicked that. Nothing. Then went back to make another request to join. Finally got in.

I’m planning to start from Bikenetic around noon, ride with family on road tires, will avoid ice. Think we’ll hit 2 coffee shops maybe 25 – 30 miles if anyone wants to join. Check back here on this thread in case plans change.

Jake – have a good ride, don’t think we’ll make it down to St. Elmo’s today.

I’ll be doing the WABA women’s ride. The ride itself is 19 miles but I plan on riding from Gravelly in which will give me an extra 11 miles round-trip. ;)

I’m not sure if I’m in the Strava team or not. I made a request and also clicked on the “invite to join” message, but I’m not seeing my information on the leaderboard.

Hey! I’m just checking in. I enjoyed meeting everyone last night and look forward to seeing what crazy rides you all have in mind. I’ve gone to strava and put in my request to join.

I have no idea what I’m getting myself into. I enjoy riding my bike and I ride everyday (except in moderate to heavy rain, snow, and ice) to work. On weekends it’s a little bit harder to ride unless the weather is nice or there is a group of like minded crazies who want to go on a ride. I like to have balance in my life, however. So, I tend to want one weekend day with no obligations. I don’t want my fun to turn into work.
