I passed by all 15 coffee shops in one ride today. Was somewhat tempted to have more coffee but better judgement ruled the day and I ended up getting only one coffee at Commonwealth Joe which I’ve never been to before. Cute place. Couldn’t help but notice their rocket fuel. Instead of sampling 15 coffee shops in one ride you could just get 4 of these for the equivalent amount of caffeine…

It was smooth sailng on the metro this morning from Farragust West to Reston! Spotted a couple of other cyclists taking advantage of the new policy too. Didn’t want my manager to know that I have the capacity of coming in earlier so using the extra 15 minutes I made a coffee ride out of it. Quite excited that I no longer have to wait until after peak and with the extra time I can now explore some coffee shops in Reston.

#1 Waredaca brewery

Tagged along Eric’s ride to Waredaca brewery in Laytonsville. Great ride with little traffic along suburban and rural roads. First time going to a brewery located on a horse farm. Alas no horses walked into the bar although a couple did pass by. Got a flight to try. Had to get Little Dam presumably named after close by Tridelphia dam. It was a refreshing pale wheat ale. Also liked the Baymore being partial to hazy IPA’s.

Coffee and “hunan dumplings” for breakfast at the bezos landing whole foods . Of many things that are good or even preferable to eat cold, these are not one of them. 2/10 stars.

Those dumplings doesn’t sound appetizing but am impressed that you had dumplings with coffee! I associate having dumplings with tea, soy milk, or beer but I suppose it’s like having coffee with something savory for breakfast. Kudos!

Great idea! Does it have to be Lost Dog or can it include other organizations? PACK (People and Animal Cardio Klub) also has something similar too.
