I use BarMitts brand pogies. Then depending on the weather I use fingerless gloves to thick gloves. Throw in hand warmers and a snack.

I’ve had BarMitts on trail bike & my road bike and love them. While my toes froze, my hands were toasty. If your hands get cold with gloves then try BarMitts!

As per APCO a 911 telecommunicationis to answer “911 Where is your emergency”. Then ask what is the emergency.
I know from my home I get the Pennsy cell tower not a NJ tower. This is very important- River rd. is in two states.

You did a great job handling the crash!

    All trails need that sign.

    Thanks for highlighting that.
Before I read the little-too-quick-to-judge responses, I had a funny picture of said cyclist with an embarrassed, wimpy thought bubble as he saw you standing next to him at the intersection.

Yea he was red with embarrassment but I did not say a word or even give him the NJ Evil Eye.

I did not threaten I just stood next to him with my very friendly pit bull sniffing him.

Why would you ASSUME I threatened him!!!

I want to hear from Sligo bikers about the problems with bikers not calling out.

To add to this on-going discussion, I finally have to put in my findings. The numb hands were caused by my neck out of wack. I went to chiropractor and she got me back in alignment. While I’m riding if I feel my hands going numb I sit more upright and turn my head to crack my neck back into alignment. I now ride with a straight bar and seated more upright. Plus less pressure on the palms in an upright position on my hybrid. The cause might be farther up the (nerve) line.
