Once you get into Virginia, the W&OD trail is probably your best bet.

First, thank you to all that replied and I agree with all! It is a HELL commute with bike or not, and I saw my options as being none existent to bike to work.
I’ve looked at the options and thought perhaps others might know better, but it seems no matter how I slice it, 35+ miles one way is no way to get to work! I can and have done 25 to work, but that’s my limit
I do wish there was at the very least a path way or a pedestrian/bike bridge from MD to VA. The White Ferry is a good option but you better make it on time and again 35+ miles.
