ParticipantSeems like some of you all managed a happy hour tonight which is great! It has been suggested we get together and do a group ride either this Saturday the 8th or next Saturday the 15th. Anyone interested in those dates? Distance preference 10,20,30,40? Where are you all located? I’m in the Petworth neighborhood of DC!

ParticipantHi all! Sorry I was slow to get organized with the team this year–I have more time now that I am unemployed! There has been some talk of a group bike ride and or happy hour on the Strava group. I am thinking regardless of how that shakes out we should organize a get together in the coming week or two. What are everyone’s thoughts? Do we prefer after work on a weekday or a weekend event? Should we have a get together that focuses on riding (maybe 25-40 miles) or something shorter (around 10 miles) that focuses on hanging out at a happy hour after? I’m happy to organize! Looking forward to getting together!

ParticipantHi! I’m Andrew! I live in Petworth (intersection of Georgia and Quebec) and am a graduate student at University of Maryland. I participated in BAFS last year but our team was not very active and I got sick half way through and gave up. This year my goal is to build a little community with my team and not get sick! Also I am using Freezing Saddles to train for a 5 week work trip later this year in Europe where I plan to exclusively travel by bike. I look forward to meeting everyone!
