We’ll also have reflective pant straps – so we can push them on any joggers who come our way to reduce the number of ninjas on the trails
I support your anti-ninja platform and efforts.

Did that exact method for 3 years before shelling out for the Lakes. I didn’t know what I was missing! WARM FEET!!!
Same here, did that for one winter season on a 12 mile commute. LOVE my shoe covers, and they cost under $50 at most places.

ParticipantSounds like you might have grounds to advocate for wheelchair users under ADA, but bicycles wouldn’t be included in that argument.

Participantwhat blocks are closed?
The Downtown Business District Area above is correct. Full DDOT Bicycle map link:

ParticipantSame here. Thanks Joe!

ParticipantAs a tangent: I saw an unusually high number of commuters this morning with flashing front lights. I can see why you would want this in DC, but on the Custis and W&OD it was irritating. Was there a memo I missed?

ParticipantCan we forward this to all the ninja joggers?

ParticipantHope you heal quickly Pete! Was this over by brandymore castle?

it looks like something should screw into the two holes in it but none of my lights kicking around the house have a mount like that.
Are you looking for someting like the Jandd Reflector mount? I know it works with reflectors, but might be a bit of a kludge to get a light to fit well. http://www.amazon.com/Jandd-Reflector-Mount/dp/B001IOT3YG

Being roughly the size of a capuchin monkey, this advice resonates with me. ann
At a length of 30 to 56 cm (according to wikipedia), you’re slightly smaller than the frame of my bicycle. Maybe you need one of these instead http://www.amazon.com/Avenir-58-27-600-Safety-Flag-Orange/dp/B002K2KWK4/ref=sr_1_2?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1319213943&sr=1-2 with a blinky on the flag.

ParticipantI feel like I also used to be able to ‘quick reply’ on the same page as the thread, instead of what happens now, which is a new page loading with a big reply box. I don’t remember changing any settings. Has there been an update recently?

Lake winter cycling boots. I got a pair last year, fainted at the price, and never regretted it. Rode as cold as mid-20s in plain cotton socks, and busted out the smart wool when it dipped into the teens. Never had cold feet, and MAN are they comfortable. I went with the MTB-style with the big treads because I figured they would help in the snow… glad I did, the treads came in VERY handy.
I’ve had a deal alert set up for these for the past nine months! Heard nothing but great things about them!

I don’t have one but an urban 180 is a really nice rear light.
Looks nice, might have to look in to that once my led blinky from BikeArlington retires.

ParticipantFor anyone that’s curious, thursday’s 20 mph headwind was similar to the last 30 miles of the Seagull Century. Just thought I’d share!
