ParticipantI tried a Priority Continuum, thinking it could be my ideal knock-around city-bike bike. However, the thing was quite heavy (their web site didn’t list a weight!) and rode like a CaBi with cooler shifting. There are a lot of clever features to the design and might be right for someone doing short urban rides, but it wasn’t right for me – I sent it back. Hopefully the 600 is a more versatile design.

Well I assume their certification is strict enough to satisfy all, but I am pretty sure Classen is not a “heimish” company.
He said the pickles were “acidic”, not “hasidic”.

A beer run is mandatory.
I had thought about surprising y’all by kayaking up to Edward’s Ferry Saturday evening with a hatch full of cold beer, but the weather doesn’t look like it’s going to cooperate.

If it looks like the towpath will be miserably muddy, I plan to take this road/ferry route instead: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27659112.
Make sure to check the White’s Ferry FB page – they do sometimes shut down if the weather/water warrant.

ParticipantLooks like you chose your direction wisely in terms of elevation.

I saw this one in Morgantown a few weeks ago. Is Wheels & Wigs the West Virginia branch of the W&W family?

Looks like I’m going to have to pick up GC7DNGA one of these days.

For today’s riding I gave up on rain gear and wore a neoprene top and socks borrowed from my kayaking kit.

ParticipantThis reminds me very much of the kayak vs. SUP (paddleboard) arguments I’ve been a part of. Maybe “more workout” (or at least a different workout) is what the OP is looking for. And while generally I’m a believer that bikes should be equipped to carry things, on my commute I use a backpack rather than panniers.
I have no experience with the Elliptigo, but efdaut, please don’t be dissuaded by the bike-biased comments here.

I left my comments supporting the project and greedily asked that they extend the Wilson Blvd lanes all the way to N. Kent St., and also add 19th St., Ft. Myer Dr., and Key Blvd.
In a positive development, the construction equipment which had been blocking the bike lane at Key Blvd & Nash St. (which was there for construction of the cleverly named “Key & Nash” condo building) has been cleared away – and now there’s a freshly painted, albeit not protected, bike lane there.

ParticipantI noticed that rough transition Monday morning. I switch up my routes so haven’t ridden it since. Hope you’re OK!

… a western-ish happy hour…
I’m not going to add a saddle horn to my bike or spurs to my shoes, but could show up wearing a cowboy hat.
