    Of course, one of the issues with any kind of bicycle canopy is that if you cover only the top, rain can get blown in from the sides. If you also cover the sides, it can be hard to maintain control of the bike if there is a brisk crosswind.

    As someone who has something like what’s pictured (though from the OEM), it’s really not a problem in the wind. We used it a ton this winter, and I can think of about 3 rides where I even felt the wind, and only one where I feel like the wind affected the performance of the bike. These bikes are tanks — you know how you can feel blown around on a road bike, but less so on a CaBi? These are twice as heavy as a CaBi.

    The biggest issue we have is that they’re warm inside, which is great for winter, but not so much for summer.
