Participant* The Reach at Kennedy Center #wormhole
This is a relatively new wormhole which just opened over the summer. It is a flyover bridge connecting the MVT trail along the Potomac River to Foggy Bottom, without getting run over while crossing the GW Memorial Hwy.

https://strava.app.link/fRMcEiaSA3What you describe is more like the Roosevelt Bridge, which has been around for a while. Do you mean the Rock Creek Trail to Foggy Bottom, avoiding crossing the Rock Creek Parkway?

https://www.strava.com/activities/3023456627“Illegally” riding through the Army-Navy Country club to connect Pentagon City with the Columbia Pike corridor/S. Arlington (alert! – big hill westbound).
And the 1-block long secret, back alley connection from 17th St. S. to 16th St. S. on S. Edgewood.

Partial credit on this one. We have the wormhole now that links the RC trail by the Potomac river to the Roosevelt bridge euro size path. You get to go through the reach.

* Pimmit View Park #wormhole
This is but one of many wormholes in Pimmit Hills, Falls Church VA which is bisected by several waterways … it can be used to access the Pimmit Hills Center for Adult Day Care and Continuous Learning (including ESL classes). I used to walk my dog here when I lived on Storm Drive, which dead ends into this park.

A wormhole that connects to nowhere?

ParticipantI swore I would never, ever, ever do this again, and then stupid LFD (Luis Filipe Dias) created this PP.
The universe’s most inadvisable wormhole (UMIW) will take you from the 14th St. Bridge to Boundary Channel Drive in what seems like only a few hundred yards. https://www.strava.com/activities/3055435580
From another perspective, it should probably take a life(time). You have to deal with 5 high speed Interstate highway ramps, riding illegally (I’m pretty certain) on I-395. In fairness, only the fastest of the ramps has a ridiculously awful sightline.
Looking back at the 14th St. bridge from across two ramps (note there is actually a sidewalk–what’s that about?!):
It’s so, so very safe here on this shoulder. You betcha.
And navigate this double merge. It’s fun!!

Whew!
Oh, and nighttime is best, too.

Au contraire…the worm [emoji218] hole provides a portal at the Dead End and delivers you to the other side of the neighborhood, both N-S as well as E-W, which you cannot due in a motorized vehicle. Hence this worm hole has 2 entrances and exits if you are on a bike or on foot.

This is the flyover to which I refer and is is for non-motorized traffic over GW pkwy; the Roosevelt Bridge carries motorized traffic.

Clarification as to why it’s only partial credit, as this is precisely the wormhole that I claimed?

Except that’s the Rock Creek Parkway. The GW Parkway is on the other side of the river, which is why I got confused by your description.

There are 3 connections to this wormhole: E Street SW (at the corner of 2nd SW), G Street SW (at the corner of 2nd SW) and S Capitol Street (under the Southwest Freeway, 695).
Between E and G there is a staircase, down and up, to portage your bike. The exit to S Capitol Street is through a parking lot. -
