Well drat. My commute goes right by there. I rode yesterday in the rain, then took the bus today which turns out to have great weather AND fresh food available on the way home if I had cycled. That’ll larn me! Will be cool to stop by the market in coming weeks.

You can still ride, as there is a CaBi station at Arlington Mill Community Center.

Awesome! I needed to pick up salad fixings on the way home anyway.

I’m anxiously awaiting my chance to CaBi. I live in the Del Ray section of alexandria. We’ve been promised a CaBi dock for a year now. Guess it got caught up in the bankruptcy. I notice Arlington has installed new ones in that time, so clearly ArlCo is flush. Maybe Arlington could loan Alexandria half of the one at the boundary between potomac yard and crystal city that seems way larger than is needed for the local usage???

I live in Del Ray, too. City’s Local Motion website still reports that they plan to install Del Ray stations by the end of the summer. Hopefully with the production woes seemingly behind us, we’ll have our stations soon. I keep clinging to that hope since one of the stations is supposed to be right outside my window. I won’t even need Spotcycle to know if there are bikes available. :D I’m waiting to buy my annual membership until the station is in.

The Arlington Mill Farmer’s Market starts back up on April 22nd. Trail-adjacent fresh produce during the peak evening commute hours is a mere 7 days away! (also added it to the calendar)

Ugh. Market opening delayed until “early May”. I’ll post back when they have a new firm date.
