Who wants to be in a parade? Arlington County Fair has got that & more!

Hello lovely people of the Washington Area Bike Forum!

The Arlington County Fair is once again upon us, and as every year, we bike-folk seek to infiltrate this festival of sugary treats and delightful rides with something even more fun–bikes!
We are looking for volunteers to help in spreading the gospel of fun on the following days:
Friday, August 7: 2PM – 5PM; 5PM -8PM
Saturday, August 8: 11AM – 2 PM; 2PM – 5PM; 5PM – 8PM
Sunday, August 9: 11:30AM – 2:30PM; 2PM – 4:30PM; 4PM – 6PM

We are also recruiting revelers for the first ever Arlington County Fair Parade. That’s right. We can make it a BIKE PARADE. How awesome is that? One lucky person can even pedal Tim Kelley on the sidehack… The theme is “Summer Nights and Lights”… so please affix every light you have to your bike and lets get this party started! If you’re interested, it’s happening the evening of Wednesday, August 5 starting at 6 PM.

I’m a maybe for the parade with kid, cargo bike, and lights. According to the sign up page we meet at 5:30 at Arlington Career Center. Is everyone gathering in the parking lot out back? Should I be there by 5:30 or is that when it actually rolls out?
