So it sounds like there are two schools of thought on the jerseys.
On one side there are the people who would definitely like to see a a nice high end kit. The flip side is that there are people who don’t care about a performance garment and don’t want to spend the money for it. The other downside with a jersey is that you wouldn’t wear it every day, so it wouldn’t be all that useful in making yourself visible to other WABF members on a regular basis.
That being said, if someone has the inclination to handle a jersey order, I think there is enough interest from the forum to make it feasible. So, anyone want to step up and volunteer some time, keeping in mind the comments that txgoonie made a few pages back?
As for some other form of identification, I think we have interest in something small like a button, luggage tag, frame sticker (or maybe all three!). BikeArlington can swing something in our budget since it is a relatively small run. If this sounds good, we just have to figure out what exactly we want, and what we want it to say.
