If you can concatenate v and v like a German, then you can figure out my name. I’m a poor excuse for a token Australian (though I do like beeyah), and I usually wear commuter shoes with laces. My main four bikes all have ELITE water bottle cages.

I have a 1993 Giant Rincon MTB with swanky new star grips. I am slow. I break Rule #18 all the time. I have a giant white Banjo Bros. backpack. I ride from Alexandria to DC (when I do not have a horrible cold ). I miss the Like button.

Name’s Chris. I commute/run errands on a dark blue Surly Cross-Check and do my long weekend rides and tours on a burgundy IF Independence. I love my steel bikes!

My biggest identifying feature is that I’m one of the largest people, at least in this area, you’ve seen on a road bike. Mr. Kelley is extremely tall. I am also tall but carry some extra poundage. According to the stat sheets, I’m almost the exact dimensions of NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski. Just a lot less muscely and not as good at catching TDs, therefore less rich unfortunately.

I’m not very fast, but people like to follow me into headwinds for some reason.

I’m Randy. Most weekdays I’ll be on a blue Fuji road bike with fenders, and a black and red timbuk2 rucksack. On weekends and sometimes weekday evenings, I’ll be on a blue and white trek and probably in an NCVC kit.

I’m Bryan. Obviously a Terps fan. Ride a gray/white cannondale (urban/hybrid). I dream of one day having some of the bikes you guys have, ha. Riding from Old Town (soon Beacon Hill) to McPherson Square. Also, usually passed by many of you although also passing an equal number of folks.

I’m Robert. Hmm…identifiable features…I ride one of those bikes from VO and have shiny fenders and racks. It’s because I like to see my reflection while I ride. Usually can be seen on the trail from and to Vienna on the WOD. I also have a new bike and downtube shifters, what?

I am Peter. I ride a white steel cx bike bought from that place on the internet. Distinguishing features are silver VO fenders, blue panniers and orange brake cable housing (I haven’t gotten around to the derailleur housing yet). You’ll find me all around DC, Montgomery County, and parts of Arlington County.

I’m another Chris, and generally ride a copper Giant hybrid on two-thirds of the Arlington loop for my commute. You’ll also see me out on a gray Salsa Pistola road bike.

I’m Amy. You’re unlikely to see me on your commutes. You might see me running errands in the evenings or on weekends in Old Town or Belle View/Beacon Hill areas on a red Trek FX, or out playing on the weekends on a blue Specialized Dolce. I am the short lady with the long pony tail.

Karen Smith is my long-time internet alter-ego, for those times when I need to hand over what seems to me to be overly personal information. She checks out car insurance or mortgage interest rates for me, and stuff like that. She also represents me on Strava.

I mainly ride a green 70s Fuji Gran Tourer. You may occasionally see me commuting from Arlington to Dupont on a CaBi. Soon, you may see me carting my 1 year old daughter around on a Cetma or Bullet after I finally decide what kind of kid carrier I want. I like long walks on the beach and puppies.

I’m Crystal. (Almost a “Chris”?) My Twitter handle happens to be the same as my forum name. I almost always ride a light blue Surly Cross-Check with a front pannier, but sometimes on a Capital Bikeshare or my gold vintage beater bike… which I’ll be selling soon. Random tidbit: I’ve never owned more than 2 bikes at a time.
