That looks like a lot of fun. Anybody know how well the trail is demarcated right now given all the leaves falling off the trees?

ParticipantThe turns are well worn in and easy to spot, there are a few straight sections between turns that are not so easy to follow. Leaves should not be an issue. The barriers are hidden in the bushes near the railroad bridge if you are so inclined.

ParticipantI just took a bit of hooky time to explore- great course and indeed a lung buster although in four laps I never did figure out the first 1/4 mile (need to watch the video again I guess). Anyone up for a pre-HDCC or FMCC CX Cat-6 extravaganza?

I’m in, barring any last minute early morning meetings. How about wed morning at gravelly point around 7:15am?

. I’m game regardless- but earlier would be better if we are going to hit HDCC too. Will? Matt? Hans?

Awesome Cyndi.
How early?November 19, 2013 at 1:59 am #986249vvill
ParticipantI’m in!
I’d rather just make coffee at home and bring it in a metal mug than go as far as HDCC plus CX laps, otherwise I’ll be running short on time.

ParticipantWill 6:45 work? If not 7-7:15 is fine.

I’m with Will. I have a 9am conference call so need to be at my desk (still in bike clothes is fine) by 8:45 at the latest. I’ll bring coffee for between laps. Re: timing. How about leave W&OD near EFC at 6:45 arrive at Gravely CX course at/around 7:15, play in the dirt for 30-40 minutes then sprint to office and recover while on the conference call. Does this sound right?

Oops just saw that. 6:45 is EARLY! But I could probably be arm-twisted into 7am. Someone pick a time and if there is a W&OD convoy let me know.

ParticipantI am short on time this week, but this sounds too fun to miss. I will try to make it. At least it is light now at 7am; that should help with navigation.

I pick 0700, won’t be able to do hdcc after.
How about MattAune? Dickie? Subby? Rod Smith? Kel? DaveK? MarkB? Megabeth? Dirt? SkreamingQuadz? TimK? Culimerc? Bikeseveryday? JasonB? Bilsko?November 19, 2013 at 2:32 am #986257vvill
Participant7am is doable. I plan to clean my drivetrain beforehand but the rest of the bike will be bringing in some Loudon County dirt.

ParticipantSorry, no can do. Have taken a few days off and need to be at my desk bright-eyed and bushy-tailed facing a zillion e-mails that I haven’t checked…have fun, ya’ll.
