Any bike shop should be able to replace the spokes and true the wheel for your ebike. I had it done at bike@vienna for less than $20 with my ebike rear wheel with a hub motor but I bought the tools needed and do it myself now.

edit: You should call ahead first though and see if they have the tools to do custom spoke lengths. Most shops (but not all) will.

have to find a place that takes the DC commuter bike checks and can rebuild a wheel on a pedelec.

Regarding the commuter checks here’s a shop finder:

Some of the locations are out of date eg District Hardware has moved to a new location down on the Southwest Waterfront. Bikes@Vienna is on the list, but call ahead to be sure.

Thanks – I actually have a full set of spokes to do a full rebuild (and a new marathon tire while I”m at it). Juiced had an issue with very crappy chinese spokes, and they sent me a full set of actual decent EU ones to replace them all. It’s a hazard. Will use the locator from the other poster, and I’ll make sure to ask about the above as well.
