Just found out yesterday that there’s an event in Alexandria called Wheel Day. The neighborhood shuts down a street for a parade for kids of bikes, scooters, skates, strollers, wheelchairs. Anything with wheels. Apparently some families go all out and decorate bikes and construct floats I’ll be checking it out this afternoon.
Parade starts at 3. Find it at the intersection of Old Dominion Blvd and Chalfonte Dr in Alexandria.
