Well, I was going to be snarky and say, “any one I do on my bike,” but then I saw why you were asking.

    How about Holmes Run?

There is a 4MR > MVT > CAMERON RUN > HOLMES RUN > WALTER REED loop that is just outstanding…. and is a good excuse for taking the yutes to Old Town for a nosh.

How about w-bound on 4MR segments instead of the WOD? Good for teaching courtesy skills and watching out for families, dog walkers, etc. Hillier and more back in the woods and shadier. Then combine with the Bluemont Junction loop. Looks to be about 12 miles.

    Something like this.

Anything on Kidical Mass Arlington should be safe enough for the Phoenix crowd. Cobbling them all together would have a nice little tour of Arlington neighborhoods.

Spoiler alert: you may see a map of all the places KM-A has ridden in its two years in the near future (or one awesome person has put an almost-complete one together already, and one detail-oriented person is hoping the one missing ride can be added to it, please, please, pretty please…)

Oh YAY! With the first ride! It’s awesome!

It’s also fun to play “guess which parts of Arlington are hilly”

SteveO, curious as to why you would opt out of the FMR section behind the Brittany and Carlton condos?
