One guy wiped out on a turn. You can hear the crowd quiet down suddenly, but he got back up quickly. (Sort of quickly.) I also saw some Rollerball-type action out there involving Tim. Cargo bike riders are a fierce and competitive lot. At least a few of them are. Another rider was delivering pizzas. A quick race in between pizza deliveries. Nothing wrong with that.

The CaBi riders were more laid back, especially the one dressed in a sport coat.

I did the Capital Bikeshare race too – I thought it was a ton of fun (especially compared to riding around on 23/25mm tires – I did some pre-ride laps on those). Thanks to Arlingtonrider who let me borrow her CaBi key for the event!
