This is a no-drop group ride with something for everyone. The course is designed to allow for multiple laps.

If you are new to riding this is the place to start. Dirt is one of the best ride leaders in the area. The course is mostly on quiet residential streets.

Tonight Dirt is giving a quick tutorial on how to navigate with your Garmin at 6:00 pm.

Come out to this ride now before it gets big. That’s one additional advantage to this ride. Unlike Wakefield or FreshBikes @ Arlington this is a small-ish, intimate ride. You will not be one of the salmon fighting through 100s of other riders.

Will Freshbikes be adding this to their website? I looked last night, but they just had info for the Ballston and Bethesda rides.

My company’s workshop is right behind the Mosaic district so I will certainly join in for one of the rides, unfortunately I am bailing early today to try and beat the rain. Have fun tonight and I’ll see you all at the next one!

Hmmm … Any chance you are going and are going to ride there from DC? If you are, and IF (big IF) I can sneak out of work, I’d meet you at Key Bridge.

Aw man, I should have brought my bike WITH me today since I’m working in Greenbriar and will pass Merrifield on the way home… I suppose I could drive back… (won’t get home in time to ride out to Merrifield. )

Its looking doubtful I’ll make it but miracles could still happen. If I’m not at the Key Bridge Marriott parking lot by 5:20 ride without me.
