11:58 AM 1/30 (Severe Weather Team) Special Update on Storm Timing. Our multi-state team is seeing evidence severe weather may arrive in the central Maryland region earlier than expected.

Storms moving into Garrett County MD are producing wind gusts of 60 mph, and the line is traveling East at 55 mph.
This has increased our concern for power outages tonight.

    1. We now project wind and rain impacts to start as early as 4 PM in Frederick, Carroll, Howard and Montgomery Counties.

    2. As early as 5 PM in Washington, Baltimore County & Baltimore City, with effects into Anne Arundel and Harford by 6 PM.

    3. Eastern shore counties should see winds increasing toward the PM commute, with heavy rain and strong gusty winds developing between 7 and 8 PM if not sooner.

    4. The NOAA Storm Prediction Center has increased Precipitable Water Values to 1.1″ for much of Maryland, hence the reason the NWS expanded the Flash Flood Watch earlier.

Ha! Drink your coconut juice! :)

I’m not sure that you can tell Rule 5 “FU”… isn’t that redundant?

Well, I was really telling the leg cramps to FU. I was all nice and asleep!

Does coconut juice help? I already eat like 500 bananas a day :D

Coconut water has “electrolyes” (it’s what plants crave!).

Last I heard was that potassium (bananas) doesn’t do much for cramping, but that magnesium deficient diet might help. Mostly it’s just not over working your muscles is the best way to keep from cramping.

Maybe RCannon can do some PubMed research for us?

I do like coconut juice afterwards. It always tastes super hydrating.

Just make sure that coconut water is cold. Warm coconut water is something I make my enemies drink. Also, I think Brawndo has something to say about what plants crave.
