Wow. We might need to reevaluate the 250 limit — and number of teams … (But there would need to be some work on backend to support > 250 without bumping up against some API limits.)

Yeah, I’m keeping it at 250 until and unless you tell me that you–or someone–has the time to do that work. As you may have seen, we’ve had a number of people volunteer to help with the backend.

Agreed. How about 100. And minimum 3324 forum posts in order to participate.

If that’s the case: To be fair to others, I’ll be sure to start a separate thread to make the 3100 or so posts I need to hit that mark. Fair warning: the quality will be even less than the posts I’ve already made…

Didn’t we agree that all of the ridiculous suggestions were supposed to be posted before registration opened?

I think that the tradition is that ridiculous suggestions can be posted until the last day of winter, if we ever figure out when that will be. As is also the tradition, they will be ignored like suggestions that a competition about riding bicycles in the winter should be limited to those who ride bicycles in the winter.

Ridiculous suggestions for next year start on the first day of spring, of course.

Yes, but first there must be agreement on when Spring begins.

    What were we talking about??

And in 2020, the next leap year, we will be confronted with the same question. Winter ends at something like 11:30 p.m. on March 19th in 2020. However, because it’s a leap year, we could end on March 18th and still have 78 days of freezing saddles.
For now, I propose we continue to keep all of freezing saddles in winter time, without any leaking into spring. At least for 2018.

Is it still open to alumni who are not on the DC area anymore?

Help! Forum in its pure form difficult for me to navigate, so Karen Warkentien suggested I use tapatalk. I need to find out my valid forum ID. I think I have registered under both rj1754 and rj1754@gmail.com. Rj1754 is the one I used last year.I can’t find the right thread to post to the administrator!

Send a private message to Henry or Erin Potter. (There is a third one, but my apologies for not remembering who it is right now.)

I signed up but never saw that specifically. One thing, the text wrap on the page was weird for me so I could not easily read a lot of it.
