Warning: Release of untreated sewage in Arlington, April 9

It seems like they missed the big affected park, the dog park at Shirlington where dogs and people are regularly in Four Mile Run – there were certainly plenty out there yesterday and I’d expect even more with the 80 degree temperatures this evening and tomorrow. Hope they have put up warning signs!

Hmmm…that should make riding the 4MRT/W&OD home pleasant. Warm weather, light breezes, and untreated sewage….

There are people who don’t just assume that urban streams are pretty much always polluted?

I didn’t see any warning signs posted on the trails after work, but no one was in the stream at Shirlington (not too many in the park either).
