    Winner: W&OD Trail”

    Not this week since 99% of the people can’t ride a bike on it thanks to NVRPA intransigence about clearing it!

    Wasn’t the W&OD cleared between Reston and Falls Church? It looked plowed (but I wasn’t riding it).

    And I find it hard to believe that 99% of W&OD riders don’t own a mountain bike :-) But I understand that practically speaking mountain biking through inches of snow for 2 hours to get to work is not practical.

    It was plowed on Wednesday I think (definitely by Thursday morning). Unfortunately by that time enough people hand ridden/walked on it that the plow mostly scrapped the snow off the top of the ice. There were certainly bare patches but I was very happy to have studs on my tires.

    Tomorrow should be interesting. I am planning to ride; hopefully I will have a chance to investigate the practicality of that later today.
