Is the route set yet? Just curious where it will be going. I won’t be back on a bike by then, but hope it’s a big success

The 15 mile route will hit the Mall, Wharf, and ART. Starting and ending at REI, it’s an easy 14 miles to head down to the Lincoln Memorial, loop back to the Wharf, head over the river on S. Capitol to Benning before working back west…so maybe something like that?

Details, for those who like those kinds of things, seem to be: Sunday, April 28, 2019, maybe starting at noon? and maybe start and end at the REI at 201 M St NE, Washington, DC 20002

For those people who know people, WABA’s site could be more clear on these details.

I’d guess a rolling start from 11ish to 1 or 2 based on the volunteer listings, but yes: some clarity would help.

I hath sent an email to the guy I know suggesting publishing the time. I can confirm that REI is the start location.

I had a great talk with Colin @WABA who set this up. (I think it’s Colin). I think this I a great new ride and way to get newer folks or curious friends involved in the bike community. Esp. Because right now the price is $20 ( I think). Food music riding. I’m gonna invite some friends!
