ParticipantThis is a new ride for me. I’m registered for the 52mi route and will try to start on the earlier end (around 0830). Always glad to have company.

ParticipantI’ve suggested a route change to WABA to feature my new home trail (just got the curb fixed) on the way back from the USDA farms (Honeycrisp route) and to also ride a longer stretch on the ART in DC. We’ll see if they bite on my suggestions… Jeff

ParticipantY’all should ride with Kitty who is marshaling.

I’ll be marshaling on the Honeycrisp (52 mile) route so I can’t ride with Kitty, or at least not on purpose.

Sounds like a good idea. Anyone know when she is starting? I will be getting to Brookland with some combo of riding and metro so it would be helpful to know when I need to set out from Alexandria.

You could be one of those rogue marshalls that I see on every WABA ride who seems to have dropped their group and ends up with ours. I rode with Kitty’s group for 50 States and at one point we picked up two other marshalls.

ParticipantI am also marshaling. I don’t know my start time yet.

ParticipantI’ll be there, riding the Honeycrisp route. I’ll plan to show up and ride whenever Kitty or Steve O’s marshaling start time is.
If anyone wants to ride over from Virginia to the start together let me know–I come from Alexandria.

ParticipantI’ll have to think about riding with a marshal, as I generally avoid that on these types of rides. I’m not a very patient or take-it-slow-and-chill type of rider.

On 50 States, it was more like, “Here’s Kitty with 8 people that she knows.”

ParticipantI’m doing the Honeycrisp with Mrs. sjclaeys

ParticipantI had a really great time riding with folks during last year’s Cider Ride, so I know y’all will have fun this year.
For a preview of what’s in store for you, here’s my video of last year’s ride:

ParticipantIt’s a fun ride, I’ve done it the past two years – and you get a nice WABA Cider Ride mug at the end. Hoping for dry, crisp fall weather!
