Although I reserve the right, as unassailable czar of the clever caption, to declare any winner I like, I will defer to the bourgeoisie and declare the winner as per the voting.

The winner of the 2021 Clever Caption photo competition is ChristoB50 for his clever caption for photo #3

Congratulations, Chris! I will figure out a suitable pointless prize and eventually get it to you.

Please don’t stress over it Steve! I was a total slacker for biking this winter (not on any BAFS team; I would’ve been voted off the island!) I jumped on your Captions entries to keep my toe in the BA waters!

Came along too late to vote, but this was the clear winner anyway. Congrats on a great caption.

One of the best things about Freezing Saddles is that the various games are really open to anyone, as long as the PP owner doesn’t mind. The whole game is a way to bring more of us cyclists together, both in person and otherwise. Your contribution to this competition is just one more strengthened mortar joint in our fabulous biking community.
