This is a really cool pic from the VeloJoy blog. It is possible we could get permission to use it.

Sorry! It’s not my fault. Bike seats are just shaped like phali!

More like this? I can remove more text. Or I can just give up.

uh… pointing it downward and adding a couple smaller dangly bits on either side of the longer dangly bit in the middle makes it —less— phallic???:o:eek:

It reminds me of a longhorn’s skull now.

FWIW, my vote would be for the icicle bicycle in KLizotte’s first post. I really like that one and think the whole saddle thing is a bit . . . problematic??

I love the icicle bicycle. It’s beautiful and it captures well what FS is all about.

I too love the icicle bicycle. My only suggestion would be to make it a logo that wouldn’t be cropped. Not sure if that makes sense, but thinking about how it might be incorporated on pint glasses or jersey design, etc.

Love all this. We need copyright permission for any art. The purpose is to create a logo that we can then all use on swag.

Folks should look thru their digital photos for pics of themselves or bikes in the snow/ice, etc. It is easy to take a photo and recolor it, funk it up, etc. with Photoshop. The hardest part is finding a cool pic. It also eliminates any copyright issues.

There are also “creative commons” photos on Flickr.

There is also Dickie’s design from last year which is really cool.

Here’s a picture I took in Ottawa. Feel Free to modify and use at will (i.e. Royalty-free release for the lawyer types).
