Volunteers needed for the 2013 Arlington County Fair!

Yep, it’s already July 31st. You know what that means? Summer has a mere 31 days left. You know what else it means? The Arlington County Fair!

It runs from August 7th until August 11th and BikeArlington will be there on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This also means that we need wonderful people like yourselves to volunteer an hour or 4 of your time and help us out. We need people to man the table, pass out swag and advice and be a friendly ambassador for biking!

We’ll have snacks for you and all volunteers will get a limited edition “I Bike Arlington” t-shirt, like the ones we were giving out at BTWD. Word on the street is that there may also be a few silly hats floating around for photos…

We are looking for multiple people for the following days during these shifts:

Friday, 8/9: 1pm – 4:30pm and 4:30pm – 8pm

Saturday, 8/10: 11am – 3:30pm and 3:30pm – 8pm

Sunday, 8/11: 11am – 2pm and 2pm – 5pm

You don’t have to volunteer for an entire shift, but we appreciate any hours you can offer. Just let us know – email us at info@bikearlington.com

My schedule for next weekend is still uncertain, but I’m planning to help out sometime Saturday or Sunday. I just don’t know when yet.

We could definitely use help on Saturday afternoon. We are a little light on the second shift for Friday and Sunday.

We have a few flexible people who have offered to come so we haven’t plugged them in yet.
