VERY last minute freezing saddles/new here/hellow

I’m attempting to register (against the better judgement of the instructions) at the VERY last moment for freezing saddles 2019. So, I’m new here, but have been cycling and commuting in the DC/Arlington area for 5+ years. I live in DC and commute to Arlington to work for **most of** the year. I’ve been dipping my foot into beginner road and group riding, as well. I’ve been mostly off my bike since October due to a broken collar bone, but I’m looking for good excuses to get back into my saddle…..no matter how freezing it is. Wish me luck.

Nice to meet you Lilli. My name is Alison. I’ve ridden a tandem with my husband for a couple years, but just bought a solo bike (All City Space Horse) and am starting to ride on my own. I’m looking forward to getting to know the cycling community, improving my riding skills and general fitness in 2019. In the process of registering for Freezing Saddles now. Looks like fun (and motivation!)
