Random update – I did not bike to the meeting, I drove. :( I wasn’t comfortable getting there on time and looking (somewhat) professional for this lunch meeting.

That said, in the future I would be much more comfortable going by bike. I scouted out the “park” by foot, and it looks like there is a paved trail through Ragland Road Park that I could use to approach from the South. The office parks at the end of each of Tyco and Spring Hill do not connect to each other or the park, but you can get between them pretty easily via bike or foot, not car. They would probably also work if I used the Ashgrove Trail. Additionally, looking at the sidewalk along Rt. 7, I would be ok riding on the south sidewalk from Gosnell to Spring Hill for the shortest option.

I’ve ridden on International and Westpark before and would rather not do so when I need to make a left turn. Staying in the right lane on a eight (?!) lane road is one thing, moving all the way to the left to make a left turn is not cool.

I know it sounds crazy, but another option to consider might be to take the left lane of Route 7 for that long block. I’m guessing there’s enough time to ride from Gosnell down to the Spring Hill turn lane before the traffic signal unleashes the hordes. I’m not too familiar with the traffic patterns out there though, so I wouldn’t do it before investigating that…
