Hunt Rd directly, you have to go into library’s parking lot and along their sidewalk briefly) and then winds it’s way up to just before Quander where it reconnects with the sidewalk. They have been working on it for a couple weeks and it appears to be complete or at least there was nothing stopping me from riding. There was an intersecting newly paved asphalt shoot off, but I am not sure where it went except into the woods further. Anyway, it’s a nice way to avoid that one stretch of Ft. Hunt that isn’t much fun to bike if you don’t want to go down Westgrove or one of those roads in Villamay.
There was a poor quality path there before which I rode only once. I noticed this paving project on Sunday because the south end was closed off with pink tape.
