I’m sorry, but I immediately thought of this. I know, I know. It’s not helpful

Just got a new Trek with the BLENDR system. Seems like a good idea for attaching accessories but so far the only items I can find that fit are Bontrager. Would like to find a simple computer, by any chance has someone found a computer that can be installed on the BLENDR system?

BLENDR is relatively new. IIRC, it was introduced last year. It’s a Bontrager system which is why you’re only seeing Bontrager accessories. It looks like the current offerings here (https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bontrager_blendr_how_to/) are focused on Bontrager’s ION front lights, GoPro and higher end bike computes. I assume by simple computer you mean something like a Cat Eye that has an LCD screen. I would just mount to the stem if you’re looking to save real estate on the handlebars.

For the price point, the BLENDR attachments seems to be about the same cost as getting a K-Edge with a top and bottom mount. I have one of these that has a Garmin mount on top and a GoPro mount on bottom. It uses only a small amount of space on the handlebars with the added advantage that it can be moved to any bike without a BLENDR stem, which at $88 is pricey.

That year of the Trek 7000 was the same bike that I bought when I started riding again as an adult. It didn’t have a blender though.
