Trail Update and the Art of Falling Gracefully

NE Branch trail from College Park was totally clear today except for bridges.

The MBT bridges near the New York Ave Metro were iced up for short stretches.

Should be all gone by tonight — temps rising above freezing.

Remember the basic rules of falling:
– Aim for something soft
-Roll
-Get the bike out of the way
– Check everything before you try to get up

I fell for the first time on that damn walkway last spring. I had no idea what happened until I was down.
