Trail Detour at Kennedy Center & Path by Lincoln Memorial Closed

The bike trail is being rebuilt between Virginia Avenue and the volleyball courts, with a new route tunneled through Roosevelt Bridge. In addition, the intersection where the parkway splits to go up to the Lincoln Memorial is getting rebuilt, removing the awkward “traffic circle”. So yeah…I’m glad the park service is working on this.
