He’s also been updating his blog – last I read he mailed most of the gear in his front panniers home as they were making his bike handle too weirdly!

    What’s his blog website address?

He just got back from riding in Italy… right before going on the first half of his cross country trip. :D

He’s in Idaho right now, it looks like: http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0rKaNXLIR2Si8CJiEt8BKbWkhkNANUHY6

Yikes…seriously the armpit of Idaho. Of course, I say that as a born-and-raised Idahoan that couldn’t get out soon enough. It’s very scenic though and probably a fun and challenging ride.

I da ho? YOU da ho!

Sorry. I am legally required to say that when I meet someone from Idaho.

Join Adventure Cycling Association. In addition to making a REAL difference on developing a network of national cycling routes, you get their magazine which gives you stories like SQ’s from all over the world 10 times per year…. along with everything you need to know in order to do your own trips. They even do guided and supported trips around the US and Canada. I’ve been a member for years and still can’t wait for each new issue of their magazine to arrive.
