Time to hunker down. Luckily I have micorwaveable lunches in reserve in my desk drawer as long as we don’t lose power.

This morning was awesome with the consistent mist but dry roads. Not quite sure about the ride home though.

The cold front is a comin’. ….

Tonight, October returns and it will be fantastic.

This, so far, is appearing to be a most considerate storm. Dry commute in, rain forecast to (mostly) end by 5pm. And the promise of fall …. Bring it on!

Sure, considerate to you, maybe. But the stormiest part of the storm managed to hit right at lunch time, which is not nearly so considerate to ME.

(i know, rule 5 and/or 9 being currently violated as I sit here in my dry, wind-and-lightning-sheltered office and listen to the rain come down)

I’m not happy about the cooler temperatures this week, for cycling or running. I’d invite August or September to stay around for a couple more months, if I had any say in the matter. Not looking forward to bundling up again.

Nope, just bureau within agency with multiyear funding. We’ll see how long it lasts.

The front has passed and the tornado watch canceled along with it.

Ok the rain has stopped, but brrrrr, it’s below 60° and I have my warm weather kit from this morning’s 75° ride!
