So true. The tricky part would be how to be able to do this on a moment’s notice without it messing with the rest of the system. I could see how if they could dispatch one of their rebalancing vans there (tough with the way traffic was in Rosslyn), they could essentially dock new bikes as the others are taken. That would add, what, 24 bikes (or however many they can get in a van). Much harder would be getting, say, 100 or more bikes to the emergency location at the time they are needed. Not sure how that could get done. Awesome idea, though.
